Rudy Whitsel

Gym 28 Coach

Rudy does not believe in being “good enough.” There is always a new mountain to climb and new challenges to overcome. Sometimes the mountain decides to pick a fight, and Rudy is no stranger to this.

It should come as no surprise that Rudy has over four years of experience in defensive tactics and several more in competitive sports. He has trained law enforcement to be safer in their dangerous work and has also trained track stars as well as help those looking to lose weight. Stressing proper form, dedicated practice, diligent study and an attention to detail that would shame anyone with OCD, Rudy can not only train you to climb the mountain, but to beat it too.

Naturally Rudy enjoys competitive sports as well as any hobby that involves improvement.

Chris Crittenden

Gym 28 Coach

Chris has been an all-around athlete all his life, competing in sports and staying active. During the last four years, Chris has practiced mixed martial arts, including everything from boxing to Muay Thai and jiu jitsu. He is always looking to further his fitness journey and help others begin their own.

Chris loves helping people learn how to get the most out of doing bag work and using focus mitts to really get the body moving in powerful ways. He wants people to know that there is more than one way to burn calories and have fun doing it.

It is Chris’s belief that there is no better shape than a fighter’s shape.
